Staircase renovation in Urmston, Manchester

Dated staircase in Urmston, Manchester transformed in under 3 days.

The customer felt it was time to re-decorate the hallway, this was also a great time to modernise the staircase.

A full staircase renovation was required. The staircase was to be fully modernised by replacing the main components with solid oak. The customer wanted a change from the existing spindles so toughened glass was to be part of the new staircase design. The toughened glass will be inset into the handrail and baserail without the need for glass mounting brackets. In addition to the main components being replaced any other exposed parts of the staircase will be overlayed with oak veneers to eliminate any further painting or maintenance.

The bottom bullnose step is also to be replaced with a solid oak feature step. Creating a great first impression upon entering their home.

The installation took less than 3 days to complete, together with new doors and decor the space is completely transformed. The staircase was fully useable by the customer whilst work took place and everything was left safe overnight during the install.
