Staircase renovation in Hartford, Cheshire

The customer of this newly purchased home in Hartford, Cheshire was about to embark on a full house renovation. Despite having general builders involved in the renovation work the customer decided it best to contact specialists to fully renovate the staircase. The old white spindles were starting to show signs of years of wear and tear. A new modern oak and glass stair design was the style of choice.

The new oak and glass staircase design was to comprise of full replacement of the newel posts, handrails and base-rails. The toughened glass was to be inset into the handrail and baserail without the need for steel mounting brackets. The stair strings were to remain in white and would be painted by the customer after the instalation.

The newly installed staircase looks magnificent, glass and oak have completely transformed the space by allowing natural light to flow throughout, creating a lighter and brighter feel to the room.

All of our solid oak staircases are installed with a pre-finished durable coating that has been profesionally applied. All we recomend in terms of any on-going maintenance is a wipe down with a lightly dampened cloth if required.
