The Requirement
When young children start to explore their surroundings, this design has too many potential hazards. The customers minimalistic design is now unsuitable and is urgently in need of an update.
The Solution
The customer opted for a white painted spindle design. Tulipwood was the wood of choice used for the newel posts, rails and spindles. Tulipwood being a premium hardwood, best suitable for painted surfaces. Chamfered spindles were also chosen to further ensure safety.
The Result
This may be a small bannister but it has provided a significant increase in safety for this family. With all stair parts pre-finished in a clean satin white, and with the added bonus of no further maintenance required.
