This staircase in Didsbury Manchester was showing the signs of years of wear and tear. The idea of renovating the entire staircase with stunning oak was far more a practical idea than trying to re-paint the stairs to a high standard.

Oak treads were to be applied over the existing steps. Newel posts were fully replaced along with the bottom step and all other stair components.
