Lighten and brighten by renovating your old dark dated staircase

A dated staircase in Wilmslow, Cheshire. See how a solid oak staircase renovation has transformed the space.

It is becoming extremely popular and desirable to remove your old dark staircase parts and renovate using high quality solid oak stairparts. A good number of our customers are looking to swap their old dark and dated designs for a more modern and lighter wood finish such as oak. The staircase featured below was a recently completed project of ours in Wilmslow, Cheshire. The customer was looking for a change to the existing dated design. The new style of choice was to use solid oak combined with a modern spindle design.

The new design comprised of; all the main stair components were to be replaced with solid oak, a full replacement oak curtail step, stair strings were to be overlayed with oak, replacement wall mounted handrails and all other parts covered with oak oak veneered board. All parts installed were professionally pre-finished ensuring no further work by the customer once installed.

The customer was delighted with the outcome of the newly renovated staircase. Throughout the installation the existing wooden floor, carpet and decor were thoroughly protected.

We provide free quotations throughout Manchester, Cheshire, Warrington, Bolton, Altrincham, Oldham and surrounding areas.
