Contemporary in-line glass staircases

Cheshire home with a stunning staircase refurbishment. This staircase refurbishment marked the end of a large scale home renovation project.

The original staircase was installed initially to serve the building project with a view to later renovating it. As the project was now virtually complete, further damage or disruption to decor was top on the customers list of concerns.

The customers initial staircase idea was to combine oak and in-line glass as the main balustrade, oak treads to be overlayed over the existing and introducing a curtail and bullnose step. In addition to the staircase a glass and oak bannister was required over the kitchen area.

The combination of oak and in-line glass works perfectly in this space. A beautifully renovated home, now with the addition of a feature staircase leading you through into the dining and kitchen areas.

Newel posts without caps and in-line glass is a simple yet very effective contemporary design that has perfectly transformed this home.
