Contemporary in-line glass staircase in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire

A stunning combination of stained oak and in-line glass.

See below the tired and dated staircase that no longer suited the style of this modern home in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire. Their home is nearing the end of a full renovation project. The final works of which is the staircase. The customer wanted a staircase that was in keeping with the modern design they used throughout.

After viewing the staircase and discussing various options the customer chose a contemporary staircase design comprising of stained oak & in-line toughened glass. In addition to the main components of the staircase being changed oak veneers were to be applied to the stair strings.

There was a lack of finger clearance to the existing design. Due to the position of the original handrail your fingers became trapped at the point where it passed the ceiling. On the new design we re-configured the alignment, installing a fully functional handrail.

The staircase renovation carried out was completed in under 48hrs, whilst the fit was taking place the customer was still able to use the staircase, disruption to home and customer is minimal.

We provide a wide range of stains & finishes, all of which are professionally applied and maintenance free.

A contemporary in-line oak and glass staircase renovation that will remain in style for years to come.

Based in Altrincham we specialise in professional staircase refurbishments and renovations, we cover the whole of Cheshire, Manchester and the North West.
