Oak and glass has completely transformed this simple straight flight in Altrincham, Cheshire.

A high quality safety solution was required for this simple straight flight staircase in Altrincham, Cheshire. The proposed works was a full staircase renovation, installing pre-finished oak staircase components together with toughened glass panels. To eliminate any further maintenance the outer, inner and wall strings were to be overlayed with oak veneers.

As the strings were to be veneered the carpet had to be temporarily removed and would require some minor refitting after the instalation. Whilst the stair carpet was removed this was a great oportunity for us to correct any excessive creaking to the staircase.

Within two days the carpet is back down and job complete. The overall safety and look of the staircase has been greatly improved. The customer was delighted with the finished design.
